There are various theaters in Tyumen: the largest Drama Theater in Russia, experimental Youth Theater called Engagement, where avant-garde plays can be seen. Children and their parents enjoy visiting the Tyumen Puppetry.


  

If one is interested in museums, they can visit the Masharov’s House Museum, the City Duma Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Kolokolnikov Estate Museum or the Archeological Park Museum.  

Excursions around Tyumen, into Rasputin’s home in Pokrovskoye, into Tobolsk Kremlin or medieval Russian wooden township Abalak are also very popular pastime.
