Semester at UTMN
The University of Tyumen invites international students of partner universities to participate in the Student Exchange Program. Every year during a semester or academic year international students from Germany, China, Mexico, Switzerland, and other countries study at the UTMN.
The University of Tyumen offers not only professional and academic opportunities to increase your knowledge and skills, but also a warm and comfortable atmosphere of student life.
If you are a non-partner student and want to study at the UTMN for one or two semesters, please contact us and we'll provide you with the information about your next steps.
Study Program
Exchange students are able to choose from approximately 3000 courses offered by 63 different departments at UTMN institutes.

The coursas are offered in Russian and English.

Application process
FIRST STEP
The first step in submitting the application is a nomination (including student's full name and email, field of study and exchange study period) sent by International Office of Home University to studyabroad@utmn.ru.
Deadlines
For fall semester and full academic year - May 15,
For spring semester studies - November 10.
SECOND STEP
The nominated students will receive a link to the online application form via e-mail in order to complete the application procedure.
For fall semester and full academic year - June 15,
For spring semester studies - November 20.

Students with high academic performance and language proficiency will be given priority. After the application is reviewed, the student will receive a letter confirming acceptance and then enrollment.

Medical insurance
We recommend having medical insurance to cover the entire stay in Russia. Students might want to consult their home insurance agency to determine if their medical insurance is valid in Russia.
Additional information
Welcome Orientation
All international students are required to take part in the Welcome Orientation. It will take place in the beginning of each semester.
Culture
The University of Tyumen also provides international students with a Russian culture immersion programme throughout the whole academic year.
