1 year - History and Research Methodology of Linguistics 
Major focus: history of linguistic theories and contemporary research approaches.  
Competences: scientific research, material processing and analytical description  
Interaction forms of classes: international work-shops on semiolinguistics, projecting, discussion of Open University lectures by famous scholars (on Youtube)  

2 year - Pedagogy and Psychology of Higher School  
Major focus: didactic and psychology aspects of TTFL  
Competences: didactic accuracy, higher school educational processes management, coping with problem students, etc.  
Interaction forms of classes: role games, project discussion, situation modeling 

2 year - General Linguistics and History of Linguistics  
Major focus: linguistic theories in its progressive and advanced aspects.  
Competences: theoretical background acquisition, scientific research , material processing and analytical description  
Interaction forms of classes: international work-shops on semiolingustics, projecting, discussion of Open University lectures by famous scholars (on Youtube)  

2 year - Quantitative Linguistics and New IT  
Major focus: computer processing in linguistics.  
Competences: electronic literacy, linguistic data, processing abilities, creating data corpora,  
Interaction forms of classes: collective projecting, webinars, netfishing, etc 

REGIONAL COMPONENT DISCIPLINES 

1 year - Theory of Foreign Languages and Cultures Teaching 
Major focus: theoretical background of TTFL  
Competences: didactic accuracy, creative implementation of theory, higher school educational processes management, , etc.  
Interaction forms of classes: role games, project discussion, situation modeling, webinars, etc.  

German
Major focus: practical activities and acquisition of a third FL (German) 
Competences: practical abilities in speech and writings, reading, comprehension translation, etc. The target level B1-B2 
Interaction forms of classes: role games, creative writing, webinars, workshops. 

ELECTIVES

1 year - Discursive Practices of Foreign Language 1 (English)   
1 year - Discursive Practices of Foreign Language 2 (French) 

Major focus: illocution and perlocution and different discursive strategies that depend upon the purpose of utterance;  
Competences: persuasive abilities in speech and writings, discursive performance variations, etc. 
Interaction forms of classes: role games, project discussion, situation modeling, webinars, worshops etc. 

1 year - Professionally Oriented FL Communication (FL1-English)
1 year - Professionally Oriented FL Communication (FL2-French)  

Major focus: practical activities such as teaching, translation, programme and curriculum planning, web-interaction 
Competences: practical abilities in speech and writings, teaching, translation, classes planning, programme and curriculum planning etc
