IALS

International Association of Law Schools (IALS) was incorporated in October 2005; its voting members will include educational institutions offering law degrees. It was expected that benefits of membership will include:

• Access to Delegate Papers from Previous Conferences and Meetings at www.ialsnet.org;

• Access to New Members Website;

• Financial assistance for travel on a need and/or merit;

• Free posting on the IALS Job Board and website;

• Invitation to attend IALS Annual Meetings, Global Law Deans Forum and Regional Law Dean Forum;

• Opportunity to collaborate with other schools and faculty;

• Participation in the development of curriculum and other guidelines to adapt legal education to the needs of diverse cultures and societies and be recognized as a school that subscribes to such guidelines;

• Receiving IALS Newsletters containing articles of interest, announcements of programs at other member schools, and notices of possible exchange agreements.
