University of Tyumen at the invitation of the Russian Cultural Center took part in an exhibition of Russian universities, which was held in Pakistan in Karachi. The Russian Academy of Sciences and Arts has been a member of the Russian Federation. University of Tyumen was represented at the event by Alshaar MHD Maher, director of the Arab Center.

Researchers at the University of Tyumen have created software that can automatically detect and measure the amount of pesticides deposited on plants. The project will help to minimise the quantity of the substances used, lower expenditure and reduce environmental pollution. The findings are published in the journal “Agriculture”.
