Activities
- Research activities in the field of language, folklore, literature, history of Siberian Tatars and related Turkic peoples;
- Field expeditions to the places of compact residence of Siberian Tatars with the aim of exploring the toponymy of the region and the language of Siberian Tatars;
- Organization and holding of the national and regional scientific and practical conferences, seminars, presentations, meetings, academic Tatar language competitions for scholars and students.
Activity related to scholars:
The Head of the Centre of Turkology Khanisa Alishina annually takes part as chairman of the jury in the regional academic Tatar language competition for 9-10-11 grade students of the Tyumen region.
Activity related to postgraduates:
“The Day of postgraduates" for postgraduate-job seekers in the Centre of Turkology is held every Wednesday from 12 to 17 hours according to the individual schedule.
